This program, in collaboration with universities, research institutes, science and technology parks, technology companies, and selected innovation centers in the country, supports the cooperation of specialists through various initiatives such as organizing lectures and specialized workshops, post-doctoral programs, study opportunities, collaboration as invited and appointed professors, establishing startups, specialized duty systems, and more. In this regard, according to the agreement concluded between the Interaction Center with Khajeh Nasir Toosi University of Technology for cooperation as a hosting base, this base has accepted post-doctoral researchers. Therefore, Dr. Mohammad Javad ostadmirza Tehrani, a faculty member of the Water Engineering Department of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, with a history of studying abroad and pioneering theoretical and applied research in the field of water engineering, will recruit a post-doctoral researcher to conduct research projects on the following topics:

1. Numerical modeling of two-phase flows (liquid-gas and liquid-solid).

2. Numerical modeling of floods.

3. Construction of equipment for measuring hydraulic parameters in laboratory and field experiments.

The ideal candidate for collaboration should possess the following qualifications:

* A Ph.D. graduate specialized in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, or related fields (for the first and second topics), and Electronics and Mechatronics Engineering or relevant disciplines (for the third topic).

* A robust background in both physical and numerical modeling, preferably in fluid mechanics and hydraulic modeling of single and multiphase flows (for the first two topics).

* Proficiency in both written and spoken English (proficiency in English is crucial for technical communication).

* A strong background in physical and numerical modeling, particularly utilizing OpenFOAM, in the context of fluid mechanics and hydraulic modeling of single and multiphase flows (for the first two topics).

The outlined responsibilities for the proposed post-doctoral researcher position are as follows:

* The accepted researcher should have a foundational background in engineering and/or physics, with knowledge of fluid mechanics and hydraulics.

* Proficiency in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) for the first two topics, and proficiency in C⁺⁺ programming (or other platforms like Matlab, and Python), experience with software such as LabVIEW, and laboratory work for the third topic are considered advantageous.

* The ability to conduct interdisciplinary research and work collaboratively as part of a team is essential, as the researcher will closely collaborate with other members of the research team.

The facilities provided by the host institution for the post-doctoral researcher include:

* The Water Engineering Group of the Civil Engineering Faculty at Khajeh Nasir Toosi University is one of the leading and pioneering groups in theoretical and applied research in water engineering and related subjects. The Civil Engineering Faculty of this university, as one of the top and dynamic universities in the country, is well-equipped with excellent laboratory and computational infrastructure, providing a suitable environment for research collaborations across various disciplines.

* The duration of the collaboration contract is 12 months (with the possibility of a 6-month extension upon meeting the conditions and approval of the host professor). postdoctoral researchers are accepted at a monthly salary of $325 along with a research credit of up to $1546, depending on the project type, for purchasing equipment or disseminating research results in relevant fields and participating in international scientific conferences. They will also benefit from a 90% discount, up to $155, for utilizing services from the Strategic Technologies Laboratory Network of the country (labsnet.ir).

* The researcher will have access to suitable office space and a personal computer, along with access to the laboratory and library. They will be issued identification cards and business cards, and will also have access to sports and recreational facilities at Khajeh Nasir Toosi University.
